It’s a String Thing 239

Hello and welcome back to The Tireless Tangler! It’s time this week for the “It’s a String Thing” challenge from Adele Bruno’s tickledtotangle.blogspot.com. This week’s challenge involed this string …

And these 3 tangles: Tupuk by the wonderful Ria Matheussen, (Ria is always around here leaving wonderful comments! She is so supportive and awesome, its wonderful to have the chance to shine a light on her work!) Flec by Jem Miller (a.k.a. Ragged Ray), and Lynn Mead’s wonderful Fassett (which I LOVE).

Tupuk and Flec were new tangles to me. One of the things I love about these challenges, is the ability to learn new tangles and not worry about which ones to use. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Flec, Tupuk was very friendly and pretty awesome too!

This week I have a very special picture to share with you! This is my dear service dog Simba. He is my constant companion and gets very frustrated with art as it means he’s not getting all the attention. So, here are my two pictures one with Simba and one sans!

I’m hoping to have a new Celtic Knot Tutorial this weekend! This week’s knot is called Triquetra and it’s fun and easy with lots of possibilities!

  1. Love your Blog Cyndee! How funny our dogs are… my Zoe isnt a fan of art either or rather me giving my attention to art when she thinks Im here only for her . When she sees me pick up my pen she instantly jumps on my lap and blocks my view of the paper with her head. Relentless and Does it every time. Cracks me up!

    1. Thanks for the comment! Yes, as soon as my sketchpad or laptop or tablet come out, Simba lays his huge head on it last night his ears kept hitting buttons! Silly pups but you have to admit they make you smile!
